STREND Fitness Challenge Hosting
Different opportunities are offered for those interested in conducting a STREND Fitness Challenge.
ONE TIME EVENT: For those who would like to see an event conducted in their area. There are limited obligations for those interested in this option.
LICENSING: This program is designed more for event promoters who want to have the sole rights for conducting STREND events in a defined region.
After reading the information below, determine what option would be most appropriate for you.
Whether you are considering holding a one time event or licensing, there are three key areas to holding a STREND Fitness Challenge:
STREND and the STREND Fitness Challenge are registered trademarks with the patent and trade office. Therefore, in order to hold your own STREND Fitness Challenge you must be licensed by STREND Fitness Challenge, Inc. The agreement focuses more on outlining the details of the aspects below, then on legalese. Our goal is for you to hold a successful event that will build the good image of the STREND Fitness Challenge.
Key sections of the agreement are:

Operations will take about 60% of your time when preparing for the event. It is also your biggest expense.

They may also have insurance that will cover events they sponsor. Most of them also have T-shirts with their name on it and the STREND logo can be added, or a custom event T-shirt can be done. It depends on your budget. Companies in other industries can make good sponsors, too, but they need to be willing to spend a little money towards it.
To hold an event you must have the following:
Scoring is a vital part of the operations of the event. People expect the awards to start as soon as the last person finishes and without the STREND Fitness Challenge scoring program it would be difficult to do. The program also prints results cards which are given to competitors after the event.
MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
Marketing and Public Relations is the last major point to consider. It will take about 35% of the total time you put into the event, but it will take 90% of your planning efforts 4-5 months before the event. Without this effort, athletes and local media will not be aware of the event.
Successful Marketing includes, but is not limited to:
